Axial Vector Energy Corporation Issues Request For Proposal (RFP) to Multiple Manufacturers in an Effort to Expedite and Expand Engine Production. Proposals Due 15 October 2010
July 12, 2010

Virginia Beach, Virginia. Axial Vector Energy Corporation ("AVEC") (Pink Sheets: AXVC) (Frankfurt: BAE1) announced today that it has issued an engine manufacturing Request for Proposal (RFP) to several large manufacturers. The company is issuing the RFP in response to apparent heightened product demand and subsequent interest from large manufacturers seeking contract manufacturing and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) opportunities.

Sam Higgins, AVEC’s Chairman, noted, “With the help of our current engineering and production partners, we’ve completed both our critical design review (CDR) and production readiness review (PRR). The CDR demonstrated that the maturity of our product design is appropriate for proceeding with full-scale fabrication, assembly, integration and test. The PRR established the readiness of our existing developers to efficiently produce the required number of systems. The PRR, however, also established the need for expanding our manufacturing base, hence the current RFP. Next steps include issuance of the RFP, a Test Readiness Review (TTRR), and an initial production test run of fifty engines.”.

The current RFP may be requested from the AVEC Website, www.axialvectorenergy.com. Questions should be directed to RFPINFO@axialvectorenergy.com The subject line of all email correspondence pertaining to this effort should contain the RFP number and the phrase “Technical Questions.”.

Written technical questions are due September 1, 2010 and completed Proposals are due by 4PM Eastern Standard Time, October 15, 2010.
