Axial Vector™ Announces Design Completion Milestone Commercial Prototype Production to Begin in Existing Facilities

Dec 1, 2005

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AXVC) announced today it has completed the initial engineering and design phase of the Axial Vector engine and is proceeding to prototype manufacturing and testing. This follows the successful completion of simulation studies integrating all seven sub assembly systems of the engine design.

'Achieving our engine design completion and moving from the development phase to commercialization is a major milestone for any company. It now allows us to proceed confidently with the manufacturing of our commercial prototype engines,' said Dr. Raymond Brouzes, President of Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation (AVE). He added: 'Of course we shall continue to aggressively expand our technology and roll-out new products, however today is the point in time when we have finalized the core design that allows us to begin the manufacturing process.'

The company has indicated that the initial commercial prototype production will undergo rigorous testing and evaluation programs including field trials at Beta sites over the next 4 to 6 months to confirm reliability and performance. The field tests shall include the Axial Vector engine in special test vehicles and the company's family of Axial Flux Generators.

Adaptive Propulsion Systems (APS), the first Licensee to the manufacturing rights of AVE technology, shall build the initial prototypes at its existing Long Island, NY facilities. AVE has selected APS to also manufacture regular commercial production engines and generators in new and larger manufacturing facilities also in Long Island in late 2006 or early 2007.

Dr. Brouzes indicated that he and his AVE team will be proud to update the public on key developments, milestones and product launches as they unfold.

About Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation
Axial Vector™ Engine Corporation (AVE) is a publicly traded company that owns, develops and licenses proprietary intellectual property surrounding a unique and revolutionary multi-fuel internal combustion engine and generator technologies.

Our engines are lighter, smaller and have fewer parts than a traditional engine. They are able to run on multiple fuels while making more power at lower RPMs than traditional ones. These innovative machines will be suitable replacements for existing engines in a number of industrial categories. In today's world of high fuel and oil costs, energy efficiency, weight, and space are key considerations.

Key markets for the Axial Vector™ engine include a number of military and industrial applications. Additionally, we are developing a family of electric power generators (GENSETS) incorporating our unique Axial E-Flux technology. The GENSETS have a high power density, will consume less fuel per unit of electrical power output and are considerably smaller than any known internal combustion engine generators and the control is totally and dynamically integrated with the AV Engine.
